The Oscars are this Sunday, but the celebrations have already begun. And the hotspot for Hollywood gossip yesterday -- the gifting suites. Gifting suites are where celebs can go and scoop up all sorts of freebies like clothing, jewelry, handbags and more... just for being famous! Obviously, the venders want the celebs to use and wear their products so people will see them and then go out and buy them. So yesterday, there was total drama at the Oscars gifting suite when SARAH PALIN showed up!!

Backstage spies say the former VP candidate was a horrible witch! Vendors are calling Palin and her 20-person entourage "The Locusts" because they swarmed the place and grabbed everything. Palin's camp says that while at the gifting suite she made a very large donation to the Red Cross and that the VP wannabe planned to donate what she received at the suite to charity.
